At 3am I tape “MY 120″ and share what’s been going down, including a recent trip to the NEW NEW internet where he hung with Om Malik, Frank Gruber,Tim Ferriss, Ryan Carson, Nick O’neil and many others!
Anticipation….Better then the actual event?

Congrats on the new Macbook, I’m so jealous of all you folks who are getting your hands on them.
You are the king of Hype, GV!

I absolutely adore you guys. And everything you do is awesome. Especially secret stuff.
Dying to hear more about the NEW NEW Internet and everything around that.
Anticipation. Right now I am full of it. For me the whole thing leading up to the web 2.0 Expo here in Berlin pretty much began on Wednesday, when I went to the Social Web Breakfast. But tonight is when it will all just really get going. The Barcamp/Podcamp starts off with a party tonight. And I will be there all weekend, only to have to get up early and get to the Expo Monday morning. I’ve got some really exciting meetings set up, interviews, etc. This could lead to even greater things for me. And you two are seriously great inspiration to me to keep reaching for more.
Go to bed. I’ll go to work. And hopefully, we will see each other again soon.

Gary, you have got it right. Except for a few instances, for example weddings and child birth. I found that those two events had a bunch of hype for me and I was super excited and when they happened, they lived up to the hype. Same for you?
But I agree that most things, trivial things if you will, are that way. A ton of hype and then the let down, but things revolving around family and friends always live up to the hype. I like it that way.
Peace and love

Hey Gary,
You are totally right about the anticipation leading up to an event. I’ve learned that the bigger you build that momentum, energy, hype whatever you want to call it the harder it makes you work on your project.
Keep on keeping on!

Kahuna is killing me……
Besides that I have to agree the journey is part of the whole experience.
Take the time to smell the flowers on your way through life……

Man, I totally agree. I work in the Internet industry. You would think that everybody is ecstettic when a long anticipated website is going live. Nope, just sour grapes and moaning about the time it took … I need to get to some good wine
