Even though the only people that read my blog are my family and friends, I am still very grateful. I am grateful for the fact that I can do what I love and that I have people who care about me. They care enough to take the time to read the posts I write for the mere fact that it makes me happy.
You are welcome. And thank you.
Also, repackaging things is not a bad thing. Many configurations of the same info gives everyone a chance to “grok” it. Yes I said grok. Heh. Have a great day.
I was lucky enough to spend some time speaking with you during the Christmas season at WL (Dec31/07) and it really made my day. You took 1 hour out of your busy schedule to show me around and I will never forget it. Keep inspiring the Vayniacs.
Flat out, you’re welcome. Thank you back. None of us are alone on this planet. It’s nice when we all acknowledge the basic human kindness of “strangers.”
You are welcome. Always good to hear your views. I’m only sad that we have never had the chance to meet despite having watched you for so long and e-mailed etc.
Hi Gary, you’re an inspiration. I tell at least one person a week about WineLibrary.tv (Honest, not B.S.) because I think it’s great and worthy of mention. I have a WL sweatband on my desk that co-workers ask me about. I talk about the news coverage you got in Star Ledger, NYTimes, Letterman, Ellen because I think you’ve done a great job with PR and found a great niche of making wine less snobby by demystifying it.
Hopefully I’ve turned a viewer or two on to you.
I wish you continued success. -Roland
GaryV…your humility is humbling. It’s always a treat to watch the vlogs as it inspires me to “pass-it-forward” to my patients and others in cyberspace. I also love it when your peeps are walking around in the back. You’re magnetic bro!
Gary thank you for your inspiration, energy, role modeling, and for stating this so eloquently and plainly.
I am extremely humbled that some folks have started to cheer along my little bumblings and stumblings, and the way you express that sentiment is exactly what I would want to say too.
Thank you! I could be watching anything on the internet but you are what I watch because of your humility and your entertaining personalilty along with the value of feeling like I actually connect with someone that I really don’t know in a way that I would with someone that I do know…does that make sense?

Thank YOU, GV, Thank you! Seriously, you have been an integral part of me learning about wine over the least year of my 3 year wine learning experience thus far. I know I have tried more wines, read more articles and books and just expanded my wine knowledge overall more than I would have without GV and the Thunder Show. So, really, THANK YOU.

Gary… As everyone said… Thank you! After your speech on Monday night, I’ve been thinking about how amazing you are and how there are few truly “Mensch” like people left in the world.
You are an inspiration for the whole industry and the world!
While watching this video I really felt the concept that ‘loving begets love’ and you can play with the word ‘love’ in all sorts of ways, but expressing kindness and gratitude to you varied audience (which includes myself of course) brought about a reciprocal feeling of gratitude in me.
So, in short:
thank YOU for spending moments of YOUR own life to create media/expressions of yourself to share with the internet-world. I can’t speak for the rest of the audience but I know that it has been *more* than once that something you did (a funny winelibrary video, a garyvaynerchuk video, or a little Tweet) has made me happy during the day.
PS: I laughed at how my “in short” portion of the comment ended up being longer than the first. Oh well
I’ve learned that the attitude of gratitude and acknowledging good deeds are two big cornerstones for keeping happy friends, happy customers/coworkers, happy family members, everyone.
Sometimes, it’s just good to feel appreciated. So thank YOU!
thank you!

I’ve been watching your vlog from the beginning, but this is the first time I’m leaving a comment. I’m a medical student, and although I have not for a day doubted that this is my calling, lately I’ve started to notice that I feel somewhat detached from the patients. I’m usually the one who puts in the extra hours to get to know the patients and address their questions and concerns after the attendings have left the room. As a student with limited knowledge and skill, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient’s face lighten up when he or she finally understands that one medical jargon that the physicians have been using for years and never cared to explain in much detail. Yet, lately I feel like I’ve been walking around the hospital like a zombie - impatient, exhausted and expressionless. This really upsets me. The amount of energy and passion you bring to every single installment of WLTV and vlog never seize to amaze me. Whether a person comes across your video on episode 30 or 430, you bring the thunder to each and every one of them. I only hope that I can do the same and bring the thunder to all my patients and colleagues. Understanding and staying true to one’s own DNA no matter what anyone else says, believing in change, cultivating 95:5 relationships, all the while staying humble and open-minded :).
