This year will be my 7th SXSW, and this time around my keynote will be going meta. I’ll be talking about the best ways to get the most out of your time in Austin, and this Slideshare deck is sort of a preview of everything I’ll be talking about. Think of this as an appetizer.

My new “on the record” keynote. This is a great example of taking my entire content philosophy getting boiled down perfectly into 15 minutes. Give it a look and tell me what you think. It’s a perfect video to send to your friends when you’re trying to explain what I’m all about.
Some people will choose to be scared by privacy concerns. They are on the defense and they will lose. Simple as that. Humans are so vastly underrated by sensational new headlines, that all some people can see is this weird scary downside. I’m not like that, and that is why I’m winning.
In this clip from Power Lunch, it was two questions with a similar theme. Whether it comes to online gambling or ousting CEOs, the bottom line is that too many people refuse to play the game like the year it is. Of course you want to protect your business, but you have to be playing offense and innovating instead of playing defense and trying to stand in the way of progress.
Cyber Monday is becoming a very real thing. You have all of these oldschool brick-and-mortar brands looking at companies like Amazon and realizing that they need to get into the game, so now you have really active participation coming from places like Macy’s, and major misses coming from places like Sears.
