Small FYI: Facebook Like button
Wanted to start a new series of videos where I riff on small things but allows me to blog more often, here is the 1st! The changing from Like from “become a fan” is a very interesting play as I discuss here. What are your 2 cents?

I think it’s a bold move that facebook took. I like it. The “like” button in an easy way for people to click on without feeling obligated.

I prefer “connect with me” to “become a fan” or “follow me.” Connecting is about community building and the other two feel arrogant to me.

I think you’re absolutely right. The meaning behind those two words, like and fan, are very different and I think it will have a big impact.
