As we continue building out our content team and capabilities, we’re looking for passionate content creators, platform strategists, videographers, and editors. See below for details — as we continue to open up new roles this year, they will be added to this page. Keep checking back!  

 

Platform Strategy Producer – TikTok (Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a TikTok presence with over 15MM subscribers
  • Seek through and review hours of footage to find the best possible contextual creative for the platform
  • Work hand in hand with the creative team to turn timestamps into high quality contextually relevant video content
  • Plan and execute the programming and content distribution for YouTube channels via a thought out content calendar
  • Continuous active listening on brands currently tracking every follower interaction: comments, responses, DM’s
  • Willing to go beyond basic metrics tracking to analyzing and drawing hypothesis, including providing a daily digest of observations + recommendations
  • Seek opportunities to insert the brand in social conversation, whether around relevant trending topics/news or engaging with social influencers/celebrities/other brands

Requirements: 

  • Proven track record of success growing or managing YouTube channels
  • Experience working on and growing TikTok channels via smart promotion, tactical platform usage and creative analysis
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok best practices and how to drive channel growth
  • A working knowledge of SEO best practices in across YouTube and Google Search
  • Consider yourself a Social Media “know it all” and have experience working across a variety of social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
  • Can combine creativity and analytics with the ability to convert into a story
  • Innate curiosity and ability to adapt + be flexible, whether with new tools, platforms, processes, etc.
  • Any experience using the following social listening & project management tools a plus but not mandatory
    • CrowdTangle
    • TweetDeck
    • Asana
  • Strong writing and verbal skills

Substack Writer and Growth Strategist (Remote)

This position is a three to six month temporary residency with the potential to go full-time immediately following. We are currently accepting applications for this position to start immediately.

The Role

We’re looking for someone who can help architect, write, and scale Gary Vaynerchuk’s Substack as a thought-leadership and culture hub. The ideal candidate is a writer-strategist hybrid who lives and breathes storytelling, audience growth, and platform psychology.

You’ll build out Gary’s Substack presence: Shaping the content strategy, growing the subscriber base, and connecting it to the broader ecosystem of video and social content.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Substack strategy & growth: Own the publishing schedule, tone, and distribution strategy for Gary’s Substack.
  • Research, write & edit: Turn Gary’s ideas, interviews, and content into high-impact Substack content to build engagement and grow the subscriber base.
  • Interviewing: Interview Gary to extract his insights and produce original content.
  • Driving subscribers: Collaborate with the creative and platform teams to distribute Substack stories, and drive more subscribers. Come up with creative growth strategies.
  • Analyze & iterate: Go beyond surface metrics: Draw insights from engagement data and reader behavior to guide concepts we publish and frequency. Understand user behavior on the platform deeply.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Keep tabs on Substack and newsletter best practices, algorithm updates, and emerging content patterns. Balance doing what works and what’s proven, and experimenting with things no one else is doing.

You Might Be a Fit If You…

  • Have proven experience writing or editing for Substack, newsletters, or editorial brands that grew to meaningful audiences.
  • Have excellent long-form and short-form writing skills.
  • Have a deep understanding of Gary’s message and personal brand. Understand what he talks about, and how he talks about it.
  • Understand social strategy: You know how content performs differently on Substack, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and can promote content contextually for the platform.
  • Are analytical and creative. Equally comfortable dissecting data dashboards and crafting an opening paragraph that hooks.
  • Are deeply curious. Curiosity translates to what you want to hear Gary should talk more about, and how the content is performing.
  • Are plugged into internet culture: You instinctively know what will resonate, and you can connect macro trends to what’s relevant to Gary’s brand.

Senior Sheditor (NYC)

Responsibilities: 

  • Autonomously ideate large volumes of content across multiple media platforms and tools, with informed guidance from creative leadership with high organizational skills
  • Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by attention metrics (likes, comments, etc).
  • Cull for insights based on real-time response/reaction to live content on social pages, and adapt content based on these learnings
  • Collaborate with your teammates and crossfuncitonal departments on rapid fire requests and tight timelines
  • Collaborate with teammates, including Post Creative Strategist, to craft community management responses and engagements
  • Attend creative brainstorms, kick offs, and team meetings contributing ideas and design strategy formulation

Requirements:

  • Video / writing / art / design education OR equivalent creative experience, with a demonstrable passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms – social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite. Additional experience with any of the following is a plus but not mandatory: CapCut, Final Cut, After Effects
  • Videography/Photography: Mirrorless / DSLR manual shooting knowledge
  • Editing/Post-production: Adobe Suite
  • Extraordinary content creation skills, capable of execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, editing and writing. Responsible, accountable, very attentive to details and self-starter who demonstrates initiative
  • Ability to collaborate with the individuals of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and positive results

Content Creator (Remote)

NOTE: This Creator position is an entry-level, part-time, remote position. We are recruiting for roles outside the U.S., and candidates can anticipate 10-35 hours of work per week if offered the role. 

We are Creators, creative industry rogues, Instagram-story lovers, community managers, and #foryoupage admirers. We are not just on the Internet; we are creating the stuff the internet wants to see. Whether that’s a viral TikTok video or the latest Twitter meme, we’re passionate storytellers. We move so fast and make so much good content. So, we need more folks, who can come up with compelling content ideas and then create them! We’re looking for the unconventional, less-obvious, unseasoned (or over seasoned) creative pros, but above all – passionate makers and culture shakers.

Want in? We love dedicated video and design creators, subversive artists and illustrators, obsessive meme makers, and we don’t care if you’re fresh to the workforce or working on your third act. What’s your hustle? Documentarian? DJ? Sports junkie? Fashionista? Blogger? Vlogger? Redditor? Are you an Insta-feind? An unabashed TikTokker? Or both? We’re here for all of it… Just as long as every day you love coming up with insightful and relevant content ideas and have the skills to make them.

The Creator:

  • Uses and creates on social media daily
  • Has an ability to make relevant content across all platforms and has extraordinary skills in at least one if not all of these: design, video editing, social media copywriting
  • Videography or design education OR equivalent relevant experience; all applicants will be asked to provide recent content examples from social media accounts
  • Shows a demonstrable passion, curiosity, and experience in making creative content on social media platforms – Tweets, TikTok videos, Instagram visuals, YouTube edits
  • Proficient in one or many of the Adobe Creative Suite programs and eager to continue to learn and evolve in other efficient and effective ways to make social-first content: Adobe Creative Suite, mobile creator apps, and in-app editing (Instagram Story creation, TikTok editing, etc.)
  • Responsible, accountable, and deeply passionate about their own personal interests and hobbies, and of course, kind, compassionate, and empathetic because you love the magic of collaboration
  • Proficient in English

The Gig Is:

  • Creating emotional, impactful, objective-oriented content for Gary Vaynerchuk’s brand
  • Mastering the ability to turn any branded content into a volume of social gold (clips, gifs, graphics, photos, stories, copy, etc.)
  • Working with a wide range and quality of video and static imagery – from a collection of photography to short video clips – and turning them into content assets built for individual platforms and audiences
  • Collaborating with our platform and strategy teams to create and manipulate video, a plethora of photography, social copy, gifs, short clips, streaming stories, etc.
  • Honing your design, editing, and blurb-writing skills utilizing standard industry software and social platforms
  • Wrangling and rolling with your teammates to service rapid turnaround times, capture trending moments, and deliver and receive feedback, all while keeping a clear, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude towards content creation
