Intention trumps absolutely everything. The power of an apology is something that a lot of people don’t understand. The “Sorry” might be the most valuable thing you can possibly do.

    Interesting. And for the most part I agree. However, I could never mislead with the intent to apologize. Sounds insincere and a recipe for loosing one’s credibility. I would suggest we embrace the apology when we discover a wrong rather than ignore it. Obviously, your mileage may vary.
